Sharjah24: The Sharjah Institute for Heritage (SIH) pulled curtain down on 21st edition of the Sharjah International Narrator Forum (SINF), which was extended during September and varied between real and virtual activities, being held in various regions and cities of the Emirate of Sharjah.
SINF witnessed a remarkable turnout from lovers of heritage and tales, while more than 38 countries from different parts of the world participated in. 

SINF was held under the slogan "Animal Stories", while the Republic of Sudan was the guest of honour for this year's edition, through Dr. Ahmed Abdel Rahim Nasr, the honorary personality, in appreciation of his contributions to the field of cultural heritage, and the Tunisian storyteller Abdel Aziz Laroui was honored as a legal personality.

His Excellency Dr. Abdul Aziz Al Musallam, Chairman of the Sharjah Institute for Heritage (SIH) and Chairman of the Forum’s Higher Committee, said: “We were together in September, enjoying the story that we lived with narrators and storytellers from more than 38 countries which reflects the great keenness of SIH to spread the culture of narratives among members of society".  

Dr. Abdul Aziz Al Musallam, continued his speech by expressing his gratitude for His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, for supporting the forum during its 21th edition which was the hub for story and tales lovers.  

For her part, Aisha Al Hussan Al Shamsi, General Coordinator of the Forum and Director of the Arab Heritage Center, affirmed that SINF is a distinguished cultural heritage and knowledge journey that is renewed every year in the field of cultural heritage, through which we explore new knowledge in the field of cultural heritage from different parts of the world.
