Colonel Sami Al Naqbi, Director General of Civil Defence, inspected all of the Region's centres, underlining to “Sharjah 24” that the region is completely prepared to deal with the situation.
He explained that the support and reliance plan had been activated, the rescue and firefighting teams had been divided into three main teams covering the region's cities, and a reserve force had been assigned to the Central Region for rapid intervention, indicating the provision of support and supply to the centres with the necessary equipment and mechanisms.
Colonel Al Naqbi urged the public to conduct their own investigations and collect information from official and reliable sources, to work completely with the appropriate authorities and follow their orders, and to avoid approaching beaches and valley streams to ensure their safety.
