Sharjah 24: The Khorfakkan Triathlon, which took place on Friday, October 1, 2021, under the supervision of the Sharjah Sports Council (SSC), was a resounding success, with over 300 competitors of both genders representing eight Sharjah clubs competing in swimming, cycling, and running.
Members of the Sharjah Sports Council's Board of Directors, Counsellor Omar bin Hanifa, Chairman of the Legal Committee; Abdullah Sultan, Chairman of the Professional Standards Committee; Mohammed Ali bin Hammad, Director of the Government Communication Department; and Zakia Suhail Al Musharrakh, Head of the Council's Media Department, were present at the event.
The event was coordinated and organised by a variety of government and corporate institutions, including the Sharjah Police, the Sanid Volunteer Programme, the Emirates Foundation, Khorfakkan Hospital, Oakley, and Monviso Mineral Water.
