Sharjah 24: The Central Region Parents Council of the Sharjah Education Council (SEC), represented by Rashid Abdullah Al Mahyan, Chairman of the Council, accompanied by Suhail Salem Al Kaabi, Chairman of the Financial Committee of the Council, and the Council’s staff visited Saeed Salem Al Hamza, at his home. Saeed Salem Al Hamza is one of the first generations who served education with voluntary efforts and saw the development of the UAE.
The visit aimed to achieve SEC strategies in communicating with the local community.
The Council emphasises the importance of generations communication, and introducing youth and students to the role and work of senior citizens to serve the UAE.
The visit comes within the framework of celebrating the International Day for the Elderly and embodying SEC role and objectives aimed at building bridges of communication with the community and enhancing cohesion among members of society and introducing the roles of Emiratis who have made great contributions to the country.
Abdullah Al Mahyan, Chairman of the Council, pointed to the role of Emiratis, especially from the first generation, in strengthening the roles of education and working to consolidate the values of patriotism and loyalty to the homeland and to the wise leadership, and making efforts to advance the various national programmes.
Hamza was among the men who contributed to serve education through his voluntary efforts, in the early period of education, in the region, as he transported students to and from schools, at a time where means of transportation were not available.
