In his intervention, on the World Teacher's Day, His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah presents a comprehensive and majestic definition of the teaching profession: “giving”.
“Giving” is the value of great people in all fields, places and professions. Each worker gives something in his own field of work. But, why the teacher's giving is special and different? What makes the teacher the secret of the future of nations? What makes the teacher's job the basis of development and growth in societies?
These major questions turned His Highness declaration into a comprehensive definition that revealed the answer to all these questions. He is called the educated ruler concerned with the development of society's members from an early age. The teacher offers reason, teaching and knowledge. This trilogy represents a whole life. The teacher does not offer and tangible object, but helps you learn, know, evaluate, choose, distinguish, and how to be valuable. A teacher gives what nations, peoples and societies need to progress, grow and develop.
His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, through this brief and wise intervention, sends special messages to the community to recognise the teacher’s value, and tools represented in teaching, learning, and education. His Highness messages aim to inform children and parents of the community of the importance of the teacher’s work and dedication to provide the keys to the good path and knowledge.
Therefore, to celebrate the teacher, their work must be appreciated and accomplished. It is a profession that will be greatly rewarded, God willing. The teacher carries a great message, and has a profession like no other. Hence, individuals and societies, have to learn more and more about such personality who provides knowledge, which is the main pillar of progress and development.
