Sharjah 24: Sharjah Police General Command made a pioneering achievement by obtaining the ISO Certificate for Asset and Property Management, ISO55001:2014, issued by Lloyd's Register, after completing all the requirements for obtaining the international certificate.
This achievement comes within Sharjah Police General Command goals, that are consistent with the strategic objective of the Ministry of Interior, aiming to ensure the provision of all services in accordance with quality, efficiency and transparency standards; and with effective governance, which aims to control and improve all processes of classification, purchase and management of property and assets in the leadership.
Brigadier General Aref Al Sharif, Director General of Resources and Supporting Services at the Sharjah Police General Command headquarters, stressed that obtaining the ISO certificate for asset and property management is a new achievement to be added to the Sharjah Police's record in accordance with an integrated work system, which is the result of the commitment of all team members.
Brigadier General Al Sharif explained that the system will serve all the General Command related to asset and property management operations, which confirms the Sharjah Police's endeavour towards optimal utilisation of resources; efficient and effective management; and preservation of property assets and all materials in all work locations throughout the Emirate, to ensure proper management and sustainability.
It is worth noting that, over the past years, the General Command of Sharjah Police, obtained “9” international standards certificates, as a result of the efforts of the team, which is added to its series of global achievements and confirms Sharjah Police keenness to work within pioneering plans towards improving the quality of life.
