Sharjah24 : Sharjah Award for Voluntary Work organised a workshop for children entitled “Skills for Refining Volunteer Work” ; launched as part of “Hassad Volunteer Camp” programme which was organised by the Department of Social Services for children.
Maryam Al Obaidly, Public Relations Coordinator, narrated "Volunteering Buds" story for children to refine the volunteering skills of the younger generation. The remarkable story issued by the Sharjah Award for Voluntary Work as one of its publications targeted children from 6 to 12 years old.
Building on this, Fatima Musa Al Balushi, Executive Director of the Award, stated that this workshop is one of ways of cooperation and partnership established by the award with many government institutions in Sharjah, including the Department of Social Services. Al Balushi highlighted the importance of workshops in refining skills of children and providing them the necessary knowledge in the field of volunteer work.
