Sharjah 24: Dibba Al Hisn Parents Council, and affiliate of Sharjah Education Council (SEC) launched a series of virtual programmes, workshops and activities, targeting students, via social media platforms during the summer under the slogan “Our Summer is Fun”.
The launch was tackled during the periodic meeting held by the Council, headed by Mohammed Rashid Rashoud Al Hamoudi, Chairman of the Council, and attended by Saud Tamim Al Riyami, Vice chairman of the Council and members of the Council.
The meeting tackled a number of goals aimed at occupying students’ leisure time during the summer vacation and working in accordance with SEC goals and plans.
Dibba Al Hisn Parents Council approved the launch of a number of programmes including cultural, artistic, social and heritage activities. The Council also launched voluntary programms under the slogan “Make an Initiative” in cooperation with the Sharjah Volunteer Centre of the Social Services Department.
The meeting tackled the council's participation in similar programmes with Dibba Al Hisn Sports and Cultural Club in the virtual Sharjah Summer Programme “Our Summer is different” to enhance community partnership with local community institutions.
This year's programmes target students and parents.
Finally, during the meeting, the Council decided to prepare the annual ceremony to honour the top high school students from Dibba Al Hisn.
