Hayat Al Ali: EPAA to organise several summer activities

Sharjah 24: Hayat Al Ali, Head of Programmes and Activities Department at the Environment and Protected Areas Authority (EPAA) in Sharjah, confirmed that the authority will organise a number of programmes and activities during the coming summer, noting the distinguished turnout of visitors to the centres affiliated with the authority, during Eid Al Fitr holiday, totaled at 10,144.

She revealed that the authority’s summer programmes target various segments of society as part of EPAA’s awareness and environmental efforts aimed at protecting the environment and promoting environmental awareness.

In her exclusive statement to “Sharjah 24”, Al Ali added that the various summer programmes will include “Together for a Better Summer” in its sixth edition to be held on EPAA’s virtual platform, and “Junior Environmentalists Forum” at Al Hafiyah Mountain Conservation Centre in Kalba, in addition to "The Treasure of the Islamic Garden", which will be presented for the first time at the Islamic Garden in the Desert Park.
