Sharjah 24: Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department (SRERD) signed a memorandum of cooperation with Sharjah Municipal Council, which aims to electronically link both entities to facilitate customers’ experience.
The SRERD, under the agreement, allows Sharjah Municipal Council to review the real estate data of people in question, through online electronic services provided by SRERD. His Excellency Abdulaziz Ahmed Al Shamsi, Director General of Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department, said that signing the memorandum of cooperation is a milestone achievement towards integration and cooperation between the different Sharjah institutions, in implementation of the directives of the wise leadership, which always emphasises the importance of cooperation between various authorities and institutions to serve the public interest.
His Excellency pointed that the MOU seeks to standardise joint efforts between SRERD and Sharjah Municipal Council to serve customers of all categories. He added that the MOU allows Sharjah Municipal Council to benefit from SRERD electronic services and capabilities, which will positively impact services.
Salem bin Ali Al Muhairi, Chairman of the Sharjah Municipal Council, expressed his great happiness at the signing of the electronic connectivity agreement between Sharjah Municipal Council and SRERD, whereas it will facilitate land applications.
Al Muhairi pointed that the step comes as part of the e-services adopted by the Government of Sharjah with the guidance and support of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.
