Sharjah24: His Excellency Ahmed bin Rakkad Al Ameri, Chairman of the Sharjah Book Authority, praised the great success of the 12th edition of the Sharjah Children's Reading Festival (SCRF), pointing out that this festival is directed to children, but is great in its meanings.
He added to “Sharjah 24”, more than 80,000 visitors flocked to the activities of the Sharjah Children's Reading Festival, and this festival highlights the great culture through creativity and the children's book illustrated exhibition, in which 50 countries, 350 artists and 172 publishing houses participated.
Al-Amiri pointed to the activities of the Festival, which included more than 537 cultural events, whose activities extended from Abu Dhabi to Fujairah, and the festival is an exceptional event through its distinguished and unique programmes, we promise you next year that the festival will be better and offer what is new and beautiful for our children and adolescents.
