Sharjah 24: Speaking on the sidelines of ‘Retail for Future’ conference, Joana de Almeida Rodrigues, Director of the R&D Experience Studio, announced that the R&D Experience Studio is the face of the partnership between Sharjah Research, Technology and Innovation Park (SRTI Park) and PLM, a global design and technology company.
In a statement to “Sharjah 24”, the Director of the R&D Experience Studio maintained that the studio puts together and merges at the same table the government, the private sector, the academe and the society under the umbrella of sustainability. This comes in sustainability of the planet and the economic sector and the economic return, more specifically post-COVID-19 pandemic.
Joana de Almeida Rodrigues added that the studio has the mission of bringing together the five axes of the quintuple innovation helix model: “R&D Experience Studio” promotes the quintuple helix of innovation – public, private, academe, ecology and society. The studio aims to design the future of retail, not only classical retail, but mainly the user experience in order to provide solution for hospitality, public events and healthcare.
