Al Khalidiya Suburb Council honours female volunteers

Sharjah24: Al Khalidiya Suburb Council (AKSC) affiliated to Districts and Villages Affairs Department (DVAD) honoured the female volunteers from the Women’s Committee, in recognition of their great efforts in implementation of the Council’s activities and initiatives during the last period.
The honour, which was held yesterday evening at the suburb council headquarters in the city of Sharjah, came in the context of the social cohesion successes achieved by the Council after a series of its activities and initiatives carried out during the last period, that was appreciated by all segments of society. On this occasion, His Excellency Khalfan Saeed Al-Marri, Chairman of the Khalidiya Suburb, honoured the female volunteers from the Women's Committee at the Council’s headquarters and praised their roles, contributing in achieving the goals of the Council’s initiatives. During the honour, the volunteers were awarded certificates of appreciation and cash awards to celebrate Eid Al Fitr. This comes in appreciation of their prominent and tangible role in the Council’s various activities and initiatives, highlighting their efforts in strengthening communication with the families and serving the people of the suburb.
For their parts, the female volunteers from the Women's Committee praised this generous gesture by the Council, expressing their thanks to the President, Vice-President and members of the Council and emphasising their continuous contribution in serving the people of the suburb.
