Sharjah 24: Mohammed Hasan Al Dhahouri, Vice Chairman of The Dibba Al Hisn Council, under Sharjah Districts and Villages Affairs Department (SDVAD) declared that a community campaign, launched by the Council, to fight Corona virus, from October until the end of the year, will conduct free Covid-19 tests on 591 individuals.
In cooperation with the Ministry of Health and a number of government departments, The Dibba Al Hisn Council continues its "Commit to Win" community campaign aimed at combating Coronavirus.
Al Dhahouri announced that the campaign that was launched at the beginning of October, conducted 591 free test targeting individuals from different segments and groups of society, especially workers.
Speaking exclusively to “Sharjah 24”, Al Dhahouri explained that the campaign's activities will continue until the end of this year, in cooperation with the Department of Preventive Medicine, economic development departments, social services departments, Dibba Al Hisn municipality, the community police, Dibba Al Hisn Cultural and Sports Club, and the Dibba Al Hisn Parents Council.
He pointed that the campaign targets various segments of citizens and residents to enhance the safety of community members, and raise their awareness on virus prevention.
The campaign includes distribution of masks, and carrying out visits to educate institutions and markets.
A as a part of the latest Council initiatives, Al Dhahouri concluded that a field campaign was organised to distribute 750 flags, on the occasion of Flag Day.
