Sharjah 24: Sarah Al Balushi, the head of the nursing staff at the vaccination centre of the Hayawa Suburb Council in Khorfakkan, confirmed that the vaccination process for COVID-19 does not exceed 5 minutes, starting from registering the customer until he receives the vaccine.
For the fifth consecutive day, Hayawa Suburb, affiliated to the Department of Suburbs and Villages Affairs, continues to receive people who want to be vaccinated to combat the spread of the new Coronavirus.
Al Balushi said that within 5 working days since the start of the vaccination campaign last Sunday, the centre witnessed a remarkable turnout of citizens and residents, praising the positive interaction of the people with the campaign.
She explained that the vaccination process does not take more than 5 minutes since the arrival of the customer and his registration in the system, and his approval of the vaccination, and then reading the vital instructions and confirming his medical history, until receiving the vaccine.
She noted that the customer spends about 10 minutes in the waiting room after receiving the vaccine to ensure his general condition and check on his health, and then leaves the centre, pointing to the follow-up of the conditions of the vaccinated.
Al Balushi emphasised that there were no health symptoms or complications suffered by any of those who received the vaccine during the past days, as the vaccine enjoys the utmost safety for public health.
She called on all citizens and residents to adhere to vaccination, in order to preserve their safety and the safety of their families, to prevent the spread of Coronavirus "Covid-19".
Al Balushi concluded thanking the wise leadership for its great keenness to provide the vaccine for free, stressing that the UAE is a pioneer in this regard.
