Khalid bin Ahmed Al Qasimi: Celebrating the UAE Flag Day will be imperishable

Sharjah 24: Sheikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, Director General of Sharjah Department of eGovernment said that the UAE Flag Day expresses the unity of the Emirati people, whereas this great symbol embodies the meanings of loyalty of Emiratis to their leaders, and their homeland.
He stated that on November 3, the UAE celebrates the UAE Flag Day, which marks the anniversary of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan becoming the President of the UAE.  

Sheikh Khalid added that it is worth noting that the colours of the UAE flag and symbol reflect the values of the Emirates, explaining that Green represents the green environment and growth; White represents purity symbolising the good and giving that the UAE people still inherit from the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the Founding Father of the UAE and the legacy of Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE; Black symbolises the UAE people’s strength and agility; while Red represents the UAE martyrs.
