Sharjah24: Abdulaziz Mohammed Shattaf, Assistant Director-General of the Members Services Sector at Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), praised the Emirate's large industrial base, which is the country's largest, with over 2500 factories operating across a variety of sectors, including foodstuffs and construction, lubricants, and others.
He highlighted to “Sharjah 24”, that the Emirate exports 23 billion dirhams to a range of markets throughout the world. Through its trade missions and participation in foreign shows to promote the Emirate's products, SCCI looks forward to expanding markets. For the first week of September, SCCI will deploy a commercial delegation to the Russian Federation in order to market Sharjah's products there.

As Shattaf pointed out, the Emirate of Sharjah has the logistical components of an airport, a free zone, ports, and other distinctive means, which aid the export and transportation of goods to the target markets with speed and efficiency.
