Sharjah 24: Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, honoured the management of Al Khalidiyah Suburb Council, affiliated to the Department of Districts and Villages Affairs in the Government of Sharjah, for obtaining the Suburb of Happiness title within the happiness initiative launched by Sharjah Police’s Department of Comprehensive Police Stations, in cooperation with the Department of Districts and Villages Affairs and the Community Police Department.
This came during a visit made by Major General Al Shamsi to Al Khalidiyah Suburb Council Saturday morning, where he was received by Khalfan Saeed Al Marri, Chairman of Council, his deputy, M0hammed bin Jarash, and a number of council members, in the presence of Brigadier General Ibrahim Musabeh, Deputy Director General of Police Operations at Sharjah Police, and Colonel Yousef Harmoul, Director of Sharjah Police Comprehensive Police Stations Department, and Lieutenant-Colonel Mohamed Ali bin Haider, Acting Head of Al Buhairah Comprehensive Police Station.
The Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police praised the Council's role in promoting community awareness, through periodic activities and initiatives that it organises in cooperation with the Sharjah Police, which contribute to enhancing security and safety for community members.
