SEWA develops 7 projects with UOS

Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority's (SEWA’s ) Department of Studies and Research has reported the progress of seven research and study projects in collaboration with the University of Sharjah (UOS) in various fields of work.
The Authority, through joint scientific cooperation with the University of Sharjah, accomplished 91.25 percent of the study of developing policies and practices for the reuse of gray water in Sharjah, 90 percent of the study of temporal-spatial distribution, and 93 percent of the research project modeling water circulation and quality in and around Al Hamriyah Lake, and 16% of the technical and environmental economic analysis of systems for extracting potable water from air in Sharjah under weather and humidity conditions.

Engineer Mayada Al Bardan, Director of SEWA's Research and Studies Department, confirmed that scientific research is one of the Authority's most important tools for achieving development and progress, and that it is the best option for putting strategic plans in place on the ground, using scientific methodology and relying on scientific research and studies to accelerate progress in accordance with the directives and support of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah.
