Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Sports Council (SSC) concluded the Executive Directors Development Programme on Sunday, April 11, 2021.
Affiliates representing 32 sports and specialised clubs participated in the programme which was launched in December 2020 to raise the efficiency of administrative performance and qualify human cadres for the benefit of the administrative aspect and put forward a positive vision towards empowering executive leaders to achieve the Council’s strategy, develop leadership skills, deepen managerial and behavioural concepts, carry out their future tasks, and comprehensively evaluate them to check the current level of performance and encourage the acquisition of new skills.
The programme came in cooperation with the Academy of Research and Development of Sports Science Activities (Derasa), and included a number of topics in addition to conducting field visits to various clubs.
The closing ceremony of the programme was attended by Issa Hilal Al Hazami, Chairman of the Sharjah Sports Council who delivered a speech in which he praised the programme for the rehabilitation and development of executive directors, and then he distributed certificates of participation to the programme’s affiliates.
He pointed out that programme intended to develop administrative performance for club executives as part of the Council’s efforts in this regard, and to reflect on the great potential of sport in the emirate and the unlimited support from His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler Sharjah and the follow-up of Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, Chairman of the Executive Council of the Emirate.
