Sharjah 24: His Excellency Dr. Shaheen Ishaq Al Mazmi, Chairman of the Legal and Legislative Affairs Committee at the Sharjah Consultative Council (SCC), indicated that SCC delegation was briefed on the efforts of the Sharjah Child Friendly Office, through the Family and Legal Affairs committees.
His Excellency Dr. Shaheen Ishaq Al Mazmi, Chairman of the Legal and Legislative Affairs Committee at SCC, thanked Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, wife of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, Chairperson of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs (SCFA) in Sharjah, for her patronage of entities concerned with child affairs and protection of children’s rights.
His Excellency stated that such efforts make Sharjah the best city in the field of child protection and care.
In statements to "Sharjah 24", Al Mazmi pointed out that SCC is ready to cooperate with the Sharjah Child Friendly Office in terms of legislation and laws, which are to be discussed during the upcoming sessions.
