Sharjah 24: Dr. Awad Al Khalaf, Acting Chancellor of Al Qasimia University, received Masoud Ahmed Azizi, Consul General of the Republic of Afghanistan in Dubai and the Northern Emirates.
This came during visit to Al Qasimia University headquarters in Sharjah on Wednesday, with the aim of strengthening communication and enhancing cooperation.
Dr. Awad Al Khalaf welcomed Consul General, expressing happiness for the visit that allows the consul to learn about the university’s progress and its experience in providing a unique and fruitful learning environment for its students, especially students from various countries of the world and from the Republic of Afghanistan.
Al Khalaf pointed out that Al Qasimia University, and with the vision of its founder, His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council, Ruler of Sharjah and President of Al Qasimia University, is pursuing the provision of great academic infrastructure that enables students to achieve outstanding educational training in various disciplines.
In the same context, the Afghan Consul was briefed on the status of Afghan students studying at the university and the services provided to them within the package of services for all students at the university, both male and female, and discussed a number of issues aimed at strengthening cooperation.
For his part, the Afghan Consul expressed appreciation for the efforts exerted by Al Qasimia University and the advanced services provided to students.
At the end of the meeting, Al Khalaf presented the university shield to the Afghan consul in appreciation of the visit to the university.
