In his exclusive statement to “Sharjah 24”, Al Jarwan added that the organisation of Sharjah shopping Promotions came after meetings with workers in the retail sector who stressed the need to launch a second edition of the promotions.
He continued that the event confirms the keenness of the SCCI to launch innovative initiatives aimed at enhancing the competitiveness of the economy of the Emirate of Sharjah, meeting the needs of the private sector, and contributing to the sustainable development of various sectors spearheaded by the retail sectors, especially as the campaign coincides with many marketing and promotional activities in the UAE, which constitutes an additional impetus for the recovery phase that the retail sector is beginning to witness, especially after the repercussions of VOVID-19 pandemic on the country.
Al Jarwan indicated that the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry is keen to strengthen partnership and cooperation between all public and private institutions concerned with economic activity linked to the various tourism, commercial and financial sectors, with the aim of joining efforts to support the opportunities for continuous improvement of the environment for practicing activities in all its economic forms, and stimulating their main roles, as well as supporting the second edition of the event. He explained that the event will cover the new outdoor sites that include Al Majaz Waterfront and Khorfakkan.
