Sharjah24: A delegation from the Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority (SEWA) visited the National Cables Factory to view the equipment and production lines, and a team from the Cable Extension Section at the Electricity Services Department visited the Euro gulf factory in Al Hamriyah to manufacture transformers with the aim of providing the necessary materials to deliver services to customers on time, providing high-quality products and providing adequate stock.
Eng. Hassan Al Zarouni, Director of Electricity Services Department at SEWA, stated that the authority is keen during the current stage to diversify the sources of supplying cables, transformers and all supplies to provide the materials needed for delivery on time and without delay, as the authority is keen on excellence and quality in the services it provides and relies on achieving that dealing and contracting with the best companies.
He pointed out that the team that visited the Euro Gulf Transformers Factory included a group of qualified and specialised national cadres to ensure the quality of the products and their conformity with the required technical specifications, and 10% of the quantity agreed to be supplied to the authority was chosen.
He explained that the authority has started taking a number of measures to ensure the availability of all necessary materials to connect electricity services, within a system to improve quality and enable customers to obtain services with high efficiency and safety.
