Sharjah24: On 49th UAE National Day, His Excellency Marwan bin Jassim Al Sarkal, Executive Chairman of Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq) pointed out, “We congratulate our leadership, citizens and residents on the 49th UAE National Day, as we aspire for bigger achievements and more global praise in years to come. The UAE today enjoys a leading position on both regional and international levels, an outcome of the consistent efforts of our dedicated leaders and people, to place our nation among the top rank holders in terms of global competitiveness.”
He added, "Four factors, namely, economic performance, the government’s efficiency, growth of diversified businesses and a world-class infrastructure have catalysed national development, putting us strongly on the map."
He continued in his statement, “Today, we enjoy a fast-paced modern life in the UAE, built on the foundations of Emirati values, respect and co-existence, by our Founding Father the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, and carried forward by His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE.
