Tas'heel Al Thiqah Services Centre re-opened

Sharjah 24: Sultan bin Hadda Al Suwaidi, Chairman of Sharjah Economic Development Department (SEDD), re-opened Tas'heel Al Thiqah Services Centre in Sharjah on Mleiha Road, Industrial Area 18, realising the visual identity of the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation.
The opening was witnessed by Dr. Tariq Sultan bin Khadem, Chairman of the Sharjah Human Resources Directorate, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Al Thiqah Club for Handicapped; Khamis bin Salem Al Suwaidi, Chairman of the Department of Suburbs and Villages Affairs; Hassan Ali Hassan Al Sharqi, Deputy Director of the Service Centres Department at the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation; and members of the Board of Directors of Al Thiqah Club for Handicapped.

The attendees toured the Centre and were briefed on the various services it provides to customers.

Al Suwaidi affirmed that Tas'heel Al Thiqah Services Centre will provide several services that will contribute to enhancing the well-being of society and the happiness of customers through qualified and trained cadres who are trained on use of technological means and smart systems of the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation with high efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with the standards of the Emirates Government Service Excellent Programme. He said that the Centre lies next to the SEDD, which provides integrated services to the public under one roof, adding that the Centre will receive customers from Saturday to Thursday, from 8:00 AM until 8:00 PM.

For his part, Dr. Tariq Sultan bin Khadem affirmed that the aim of Tas'heel Al Thiqah Services Centre is to provide the opportunity for people with disabilities to integrate into the labour market, and to provide them with a training opportunity to raise their human competencies, which is of high focus by the Government of Sharjah, supported by the wise directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, which calls for the implementation of all initiatives that are in the interest of cadres and competencies of people with disabilities.

Bin Khadem praised the efforts of the Sharjah Government in rehabilitating, training and employing citizens with disabilities in the various sectors of the government, stressing the call is continuous to enhance social responsibility towards employing this important community segment, and to encourage government and private institutions and companies to adopt initiatives that support their employment and empowerment, pointing out that the Al Thiqah Club for Handicapped and the Human Resources Directorate place persons with disabilities on its list of priorities, working unceasingly to enhance cooperation with partners in the government and private sectors to provide job opportunities to integrate them.
