Sharjah 24 - WAM: His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, received on Tuesday, Gaston Browne, Prime Minister of Antigua and Barbuda, and his accompanying delegation, who is currently visiting the UAE.
Dubai Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Dubai Deputy Ruler Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum were present at the meeting.
Sheikh Mohammed and Gaston Browne discussed ways of boosting friendly relations and cooperation between the two countries in the various sectors, especially investment.
Sheikh Mohammed welcomed augmenting bilateral relations, stressing that the UAE’s developmental experience is set to help brothers and friends achieve sustainable development and instill economic and living stability for all the peoples of the world.
Gaston Browne, Prime Minister of Antigua and Barbuda expressed his country’s desire to build long- lasting bridges of cooperation with the UAE in various areas, hailing the progress and development witnessed by the UAE at all levels, especially in diversification of resources, infrastructure and human development.
Chairman of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and Chairman of Emirates Group Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Minister of Cabinet Affairs and the Future Mohammed Al Gergawi, Minister of State for International Cooperation Reem Al Hashimi, Chairman of Emaar Mohammad Al Abbar and Director General of Dubai Protocol Department Khalifa Saeed Sulaiman, attended the meeting.
