The inspections are being carried out in cooperation with the authority’s strategic partners.

Al Mazmi said the Compliance Department has formed field teams and assigned schools to inspectors as part of a plan covering educational institutions across Sharjah City, the Central Region and the Eastern Region.

He mentioned that the visits mainly evaluate the condition of school buildings and classrooms, check staffing levels for teachers and administrators, and assess the readiness of medical clinics and laboratories.

Inspectors are also verifying compliance with health, safety and security requirements to ensure schools provide students with a safe, fully prepared learning environment ahead of the new academic year.
