SCI distributes 2,600 kits to protect workers from heat

Sharjah 24: Mohammed Ahmed Al Mulla, Director of the Volunteer and Community Service Office at Sharjah Charity International (SCI), stated that the association has launched a new phase of its “Barden Wa Salaman” (Coolness and Comfort) initiative, aiming to distribute 2,600 bags to workers in the Emirate of Sharjah to protect them from heat exhaustion and hot weather conditions.

Launching “Bardan wa Salaman”

Speaking exclusively to Sharjah 24, Mohammed Ahmed Al Mulla confirmed that the initiative embodies the values of compassion and social solidarity. It aims to provide workers with essential items to help them cope with the hot weather conditions during their work, including umbrellas and gloves, as well as other tools to protect them from the summer heat.

The Director of the Volunteer and Community Service Office at SCI indicated that the association will implement the initiative in cooperation with its local partners in the Emirate of Sharjah, aiming to distribute 2,600 kits to workers by the end of the campaign.
