The agreement was signed in the presence of Sheikh Salem bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Chairman of Albatha Group.
Speaking exclusively to Sharjah24, Al Muhairi said the memorandum covers cooperation across various healthcare fields, including the organisation of health awareness and educational campaigns.
He noted that the partnership is intended to expand areas of cooperation and maximise their benefits across the Emirate of Sharjah and the UAE.
Under the agreement, Sharjah Government employees and retirees with health insurance will receive additional discounts on medical cases and services that are not covered by their insurance.
The memorandum also provides special discounts for cases not included within the health insurance system.
Al Muhairi added that Sharjah citizens and residents will also benefit from special healthcare discounts under the cooperation between the Sharjah Health Authority and Albatha Group.
