The UAE’s participation underscores the longstanding strategic partnership between the United Arab Emirates and the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Group. The UAE is one of the Group’s founding members and a key strategic partner since its inception, with the relationship anchored in a shared vision to promote infrastructure development and advance sustainable economic and social progress across the Islamic world.
The UAE also plays a pivotal role in advancing the Bank’s financing and development initiatives, supporting economic integration among member countries, fostering innovation in Islamic finance, and strengthening multilateral cooperation for sustainable development and shared prosperity.
Mohamed bin Hadi Al Hussaini, Minister of State for Financial Affairs, said the IsDB Group’s Annual Meetings serve as a key platform for strengthening dialogue and cooperation among member countries and exchanging insights on addressing evolving economic and development challenges.
