During the meeting, the Authority's delegation presented the "Teacher and Proud" initiative, which aims to highlight inspiring educational role models and enhance the status of teachers and their pivotal role in shaping future generations. The delegation also explained the initiative's objectives, participation mechanisms, and the opportunities it provides to support distinguished educational practices and cultivate a culture of appreciation for the teaching profession.

Expanding collaborations

The two sides also discussed opportunities for joint cooperation between SPEA and both the College of Sports Sciences and the College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences at UKB. This collaboration would contribute to developing programmes and activities of mutual interest and enhance student participation in high-quality initiatives that cultivate their professional and personal skills and broaden their practical experience.

Both parties emphasised the importance of leveraging the expertise and resources available at their respective institutions to enhance the quality of educational outcomes and strengthen integration between higher education institutions and educational bodies in the Emirate of Sharjah, in line with national visions aimed at investing in human capital and building future generations qualified for the future.
