Sharjah 24: Maria Kalaiji, Senior Architect at the Sharjah Art Foundation (SAF), said the Foundation worked with international designers such as Schul Landscape Architects in Copenhagen and KWY Studio in Lisbon. She explained that SAF wanted to bring together contemporary art, public art, recreation, history, and culture in one space for this park. She explained that the redesign and reopening of Al Majarrah Park resulted from a collaboration between the Foundation and "Superflex".

In an interview with “Sharjah 24,” Maria mentioned that the park has three sections: the main public garden; an area with children's playgrounds, a dancing fountain, a climbing net; and a third section with sports facilities, including courts and a running track. She hopes visitors will enjoy this modern park.

The development of Al Majarrah Park was finished with the help of Sharjah Municipality and the Sharjah Department of Public Works. This project aimed to improve cultural infrastructure and public spaces while enriching the visitor experience.
