Passenger and cargo growth
The airline carried 16.1 million passengers, an 18% increase year-on-year, supported by a 17% rise in capacity and an 88% load factor. Passenger revenue rose 20% to AED 18.2 billion, while cargo revenue increased 8% to AED 3.2 billion.
Strong Operational Performance
Etihad’s EBITDA increased 27% to AED 4.3 billion (US$ 1.2 billion), with an EBITDA margin of 20%. Operating cash flow exceeded AED 6 billion, up more than 40% from last year.
Fleet Expansion and Network Growth
The airline expanded its fleet to 115 aircraft, adding nine new planes in Q3, including Airbus A321LR, A350, and Boeing 787 aircraft. Etihad now operates nearly 300 daily flights across more than 100 destinations, recently launching routes to Atlanta, Al Alamein, Salalah, Kazan, and Krakow.
Enhanced customer experience
Customer satisfaction reached record levels, supported by the introduction of the A321LR fleet with first-class suites and lie-flat business seats. Etihad was named a Five-Star Global Airline for 2026 by APEX, reflecting its focus on service excellence and innovation.
Workforce growth
The airline added over 2,600 employees, including 200+ pilots and 1,500 cabin crew, while promoting more than 1,500 staff for outstanding performance, supporting its continued network and fleet expansion.
