Dibba Al Hisn Municipality promotes staff culture to serve society

Sharjah24: As part of its commitment to enhancing knowledge culture and enabling employees to acquire modern intellectual and scientific skills, Dibba Al Hisn Municipality organised a visit to the Sharjah International Book Fair under the initiative “From Reading to Leadership.” The initiative aims to instil the concept of lifelong learning and motivate staff to benefit from knowledge resources and apply them to improve institutional performance.

This initiative aligns with the Government of Sharjah’s vision to make reading a way of life and to build an informed society grounded in knowledge, creativity, and innovation.

Exploring new sources of knowledge

During the visit, the delegation explored the latest publications across various administrative, scientific, and intellectual fields. Employees were given the opportunity to acquire books that contribute to developing their skills and areas of specialisation, positively reflecting on the municipality’s work system and enhancing the quality of services provided to the community.

His Excellency Talib Abdullah Al Yahyaei, Director of Dibba Al Hisn Municipality, stated that the visit comes within a clear strategy aimed at investing in people and promoting a reading culture as a tool for leadership and excellence. He added that the initiative seeks to build a generation of employees capable of transforming knowledge into achievement and information into practical application, benefiting both the municipality and the local community.
