Al Musharakh: SIF connects investors and promotion agencies

Sharjah 24: Mohamed Juma Al Musharrakh, Chief Executive Officer of the Sharjah Foreign Direct Investment Office ("Invest in Sharjah"), revealed details of the 8th edition of the Sharjah Investment Forum (SIF), which was held in conjunction with the 29th Global Investment Forum organised by the World Association of Investment Promotion Agencies. The forum, which will be held at the Jawaher Events and Conferences Centre from October 22 to 23, will feature 29 local and international companies as well as 130 speakers, including leaders and economic decision-makers.

In private comments to "Sharjah 24", he stated that this edition is notable for bringing together investors and worldwide investment promotion agencies, with more than 51 promotion agencies and over 10,000 attendees in seminars and meetings. This approach improves partnership formation and expertise exchange and creates new opportunities for prospective investments in selected sectors.

He revealed that the event is being held during an unprecedented year in which Sharjah achieved record growth in attracting investments, garnering approximately $1.5 billion in the first half of 2025, a 361% rise from 2024. The emirate intends to maintain this momentum by attracting additional global investments that will boost the local economy's competitiveness and provide high-quality opportunities.
