“Ethraa” kicks off 100+ Financial Institutions in Sharjah Oct 16

Sharjah 24: The 11th edition of the “Ethraa” Career Fair will officially open tomorrow, Thursday, 16 October 2025, at Expo Sharjah, bringing together more than 100 leading financial, banking, and insurance institutions from across the UAE. The event underscores the nation’s strategic commitment to investing in local talent and accelerating Emiratization across key sectors.

The career fair serves as a strategic platform organized by the Emirates Institute of Finance in cooperation with the Department of Human Resources- Sharjah government, the Central Bank of the UAE, the Emirati Talent Competitiveness Council “Nafis,” the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Expo Centre Sharjah. It aims to provide more than 1,500 exceptional job opportunities for Emirati talents in the fields of management, economics, accounting, finance, insurance, and information technology.

According to the organizers, “Ethraa” represents a central driver of the UAE’s Emiratization initiative in the financial sector, targeting the creation of 10,000 jobs by 2026–2027. The fair is designed to enhance the competitiveness of national talent, strengthen the role of Emirati youth in the emerging economy, and align with the country’s vision of a knowledge-based, sustainable economic future.

The event provides Emirati graduates, from secondary school to university degree holders, with a direct platform to engage with leading financial and banking institutions, supporting their career pathways and enabling them to contribute to shaping a more innovative and competitive financial sector.
