Mansour bin Zayed represents UAE at Sharm El-Sheikh Peace Summit

Sharjah 24 – WAM: On behalf of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court, participated in the “Sharm El-Sheikh Peace Summit”. The summit was co-chaired by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi of Egypt and President Donald Trump of the United States of America.

Focus on Gaza ceasefire and regional peace

The summit aimed to bolster international support for the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip and encourage coordinated humanitarian efforts. It brought together world leaders, prime ministers, senior officials, and representatives from regional and international organisations to discuss the path to a lasting peace in the region.

UAE delegation highlights strong diplomatic presence

His Highness Sheikh Mansour led the UAE delegation, which included His Highness Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Ruler of Abu Dhabi and National Security Advisor; Suhail bin Mohammed Al Mazrouei, Minister of Energy and Infrastructure; Dr Sultan bin Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology; Mohammed Hassan Alsuwaidi, Minister of Investment; Khalifa Shaheen Al Marar, Minister of State; and Hamad Obaid Al Zaabi, UAE Ambassador to Egypt, along with other senior officials.

Warm welcome and diplomatic engagements

Sheikh Mansour was welcomed at the summit venue by President El-Sisi, with official photographs marking the occasion. He also exchanged greetings with US President Donald Trump, reaffirming the UAE’s commitment to peace, cooperation, and regional stability.
