For the first time in its history, the festival will be held in two locations: Al Heera Beach in Sharjah City from October 16 to 25, and Sir Bu Nair Island on October 24 and 25
This expanded format allows the public to engage with the island’s heritage both on-site and from the mainland, bringing the spirit of Sir Bu Nair to a broader audience.
The committee has introduced a new visual identity for the festival that captures the island’s historical and ecological richness. Alongside this, the official festival website has been launched.
The integrated website offers a full overview of the events calendar, and allows users to book sea trips, register for participation, and apply for electronic permits to visit the island via private boats or dedicated yachts.
The 2025 edition promises to be the most accessible in the festival’s history. Visitors can now register in advance to secure their trips to Sir Bu Nair Island, making the experience more inclusive and streamlined. This initiative aims to deepen public engagement with the island’s cultural significance and environmental importance, offering a memorable and immersive festival experience.
