Sharjah24: Aston Villa claimed their first victory of the English Premier League season on Sunday, defeating Fulham 3-1 at home in the sixth round of matches.

Fulham took an early lead in the third minute through Mexican striker Raúl Jiménez. Villa responded when England international Ollie Watkins ended his goal drought with the equalizer in the 37th minute. Scottish midfielder John McGinn then put the hosts ahead in the 49th minute, before Argentine substitute Emiliano Buendía sealed the win with a third goal just two minutes later.
