UAE highlights AI innovation with multi-tasking robot in China

Sharjah24 - WAM: A versatile robot unveiled at the UAE Pavilion has become one of the main attractions at the Global Digital Trade Expo in China, highlighting the UAE’s leadership in digital transformation and artificial intelligence.

Capabilities and features

Developed by Legend Holding Group, the robot is designed for multiple functions, including security, firefighting, product delivery, and customer service. On the opening day, it impressed visitors with its agility and interactive abilities, greeting guests with gestures, using sign language, and even speaking Chinese phrases.

Inauguration and demonstration

During the inauguration of the UAE Pavilion, Legend Group executives presented the robot’s development journey and capabilities to senior officials from both the UAE and China, outlining its potential role in driving future technological progress.

Future deployment

Waseem Khalayleh, Brand Manager at Legend Holding Group, announced that one unit has already been delivered to the UAE, with plans for broader deployment in 2026 once service programming is finalized.

Contribution to sustainability

Legend Holding Group, headquartered in Jebel Ali Free Zone, has also supported the UAE’s green energy ambitions through projects in electric vehicle services and other sustainable initiatives, further strengthening the nation’s position as a hub for innovation and advanced technology.
