Sharjah 24 – WAM: Over the past two weeks, eight humanitarian aid convoys from the UAE crossed into the Gaza Strip through the Egyptian Rafah Border Crossing, as part of the UAE’s ongoing relief efforts under “Operation Chivalrous Knight 3.”

Over 2,000 tonnes of urgent aid delivered

The convoys included 128 trucks carrying more than 2,000 tonnes of critical humanitarian aid. This included essential food supplies and shelter materials to support the Palestinian population during the current crisis.

Over 12,000 tonnes of aid delivered since crossings reopened

With the latest shipments, the total UAE aid delivered through the Rafah crossing since its reopening has exceeded 12,000 tonnes, reflecting the scale and continuity of the UAE’s humanitarian response.

Coordinated relief from UAE aid team in Arish

The Emirati humanitarian aid team, based in Arish, Egypt, is responsible for managing the logistics. The team oversees loading operations, monitors aid convoys crossing into Gaza, and ensures the delivery of assistance to those in need within the Strip.

Intensified efforts since July 27

Since the reopening of the crossings on July 27, the UAE has intensified its relief operations, doubling its efforts to address the severe humanitarian conditions in Gaza. These operations have played a vital role in alleviating suffering and delivering life-saving aid to the most vulnerable.
