UAE conducts 78th airdrop of aid over Gaza Strip

Sharjah 24 – WAM: The United Arab Emirates continues to provide humanitarian support to the Palestinian people through its 78th airdrop of aid over the Gaza Strip. This effort is part of the Birds of Goodness Operation, under the broader Operation Chivalrous Knight 3.

International cooperation enhances relief effort

The airdrop was conducted in cooperation with the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and with the participation of Germany and France. This collaboration underscores a growing international effort to address the worsening humanitarian crisis in Gaza.

Essential supplies for critical needs

The latest airdrop included large quantities of essential food supplies, prepared with the support of Emirati charitable institutions and organisations. These supplies aim to meet the urgent needs of Gaza’s population as they face deteriorating living conditions.

Over 4,000 tonnes of aid delivered

With this airdrop, the total aid delivered by air through the operation has exceeded 4,044 tonnes of food and critical supplies. This milestone reaffirms the UAE’s steadfast commitment to supporting the Palestinian people and helping them endure the crisis.
