SEWA to raise awareness in data classification standards

Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority recently held a series of workshops and information sessions focused on how to handle data safely and prevent leaks. These events saw many employees and data experts from the authority come together to learn about the best practices for protecting important information.

Majid Hureimel Al Shamsi, the Executive Director of Corporate Support, highlighted the authority's dedication to improving employee skills and creating programs that raise awareness about various important topics. He noted that having a system in place to manage data and ensure its security not only strengthens trust but also improves how all departments operate.

Engineer Asma Al Hosani, who leads the Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance team, added that these workshops are crucial for helping teams understand how to manage data responsibly. This knowledge is essential for keeping the authority's valuable information safe and secure.
