UAE Pres. congratulates Azerbaijan on peace agrmt. with Armenia

Sharjah 24 – WAM: UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan congratulated His Excellency Ilham Aliyev, President of Azerbaijan, on the recent signing of the historic peace agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia during a phone conversation.

Hopes for regional peace and stability

His Highness expressed hope that the peace agreement would mark the beginning of a new era of cooperation between the two nations and enhance peace and stability in the Caucasus region for the benefit of its people.

President Sheikh Mohamed reaffirmed the UAE’s dedication to supporting dialogue and diplomacy as vital tools for promoting regional and global stability and prosperity.
