UAE continues airdrops over Gaza for second consecutive day

Sharjah 24 – WAM: The United Arab Emirates, in cooperation with Jordan, has conducted its 55th airdrop over Gaza as part of the ongoing “Birds of Goodness” initiative. This marks the second consecutive day of airborne humanitarian aid deliveries to areas cut off from land access.

These airdrops are carried out under the broader framework of “Operation Chivalrous Knight 3”, reaffirming the UAE’s unwavering support for the Palestinian people and its efforts to ease humanitarian suffering amid the ongoing conflict.

3,750 tonnes of aid delivered so far

Since the launch of the initiative, approximately 3,750 tonnes of essential humanitarian aid—primarily food and emergency relief supplies—have been delivered by air to families affected by the crisis in Gaza.

The UAE has reiterated its commitment to working with regional and international partners to ensure aid reaches those in need through all available channels, including air, land, and sea. This reflects the country’s strong humanitarian principles and leadership in global relief operations.
