Sharjah 24 – WAM: His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, stated that the humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip has reached a critical and unprecedented level.

UAE at forefront of relief efforts

Sheikh Abdullah reaffirmed the UAE’s leading role in providing life-saving assistance to the Palestinian people, highlighting the country's steadfast dedication to humanitarian support.

Aid airdrops to resume immediately

In a post on the social media platform "X", Sheikh Abdullah confirmed: "We will continue delivering relief support to those most in need — by land, air, and sea."

He announced the immediate resumption of airdrop operations to deliver urgent humanitarian aid to Gaza.

Unwavering support for Palestinian people

The Minister emphasised the UAE's resolute commitment to alleviating suffering and supporting the Palestinian population, continuing various humanitarian initiatives and medical aid missions.

UAE among first responders

Since the onset of the crisis, the UAE has been among the first countries to act, establishing both air and sea bridges to deliver aid. Notably, the "Birds of Goodness" operation has carried out dozens of airdrops with food and relief supplies over Gaza, underscoring the nation's rapid and compassionate response.
