Delivery through Emirati Field Hospital

The medical support, delivered via the Emirati field hospital in southern Gaza, included large quantities of essential medicines, urgent medical consumables, and specialised paediatric care materials.

Equipment for temporary medical units

The shipment also contained 150 fully equipped medical beds and six field tents to establish temporary medical units. These are intended to help relieve pressure on hospitals that have been heavily damaged or are no longer operational.

Health system on the brink of collapse

This intervention comes at a time when Gaza’s health system is nearing total collapse due to extensive damage to infrastructure and disruption in pharmaceutical supplies. Thousands of patients, including children, the injured, and those with chronic illnesses, are at severe risk.
