Sharjah 24: On Monday, Sharjah Police General Command introduced a new program called the Professional Diploma in Forensic Fingerprint Expertise. This is an exciting step forward in training individuals to work in the field of forensics, developed in partnership with the University of Sharjah. The event was attended by several notable figures, including Major General Abdullah Mubarak bin Amer, the head of Sharjah Police, and Professor Dr. Essam El-Din Ajami, the director of the University of Sharjah.

This diploma program is designed to improve the skills of those working in the Criminal Evidence Department, focusing on enhancing the quality of police investigations. Participants will learn from local experts who are highly experienced in handling forensic evidence and solving crimes. The training includes both classroom learning and practical experience in fingerprint analysis, using the latest technology and practices in the field.

In his speech, Major General Abdullah Mubarak bin Amer highlighted the importance of such training programs. He stressed that they help police officers connect what they learn in theory with real-world applications, ultimately improving their overall performance and professionalism.

Dr. Essam El-Din Ajami praised the ongoing partnership with the Sharjah Police, describing it as a great example of how academic institutions and security organizations can work together effectively. He mentioned that this collaboration focuses on addressing real issues that police face and supports informed decision-making. He also emphasized that the university is committed to aligning education with the needs of important sectors in the country to enhance human resource development.
