Dominant performance over 78 laps
Norris completed the 78-lap race in 1:40:33.843, finishing ahead of Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc—last year’s winner—and McLaren teammate Oscar Piastri, by 3.131 and 3.658 seconds respectively.
Verstappen and Hamilton trail behind
Red Bull’s Max Verstappen crossed the line in fourth place, followed by Ferrari’s Lewis Hamilton, who had received a three-place grid penalty for impeding Verstappen during qualifying.
A milestone win for Norris and McLaren
This marks Norris’s second win of the 2025 season, his first being in Australia, and the sixth of his F1 career. The victory also returned McLaren to the top step in Monaco for the first time since Lewis Hamilton’s win in 2008, bringing the team’s total wins in Monaco to 16.
